A stunning vintage / antique art pottery vase made in France.
Vase has a beautifully detailed golden Iris flower with green foliage on both the front and back against a rich deep brown glaze that goes into a deep green towards the top.
Measures 11 1/8" tall. There is some very light crazing and a few scratches in the glaze, no chips or cracks were found.
The bottom bears Made In France paper labels and is marked in black with the makers mark of overlapping letters of HBC and the number 2018 with other lettering also in black (perhaps the name of the artist). Bottom is also incised with 1520 2.
A gorgeous French art pottery vase, very elegant.

A magnificent Pairpoint silverplate flower basket with ornate open work.
This handled basket measures approximately 16" to the top of the handle and 9 3/8" diameter at the top of the basket.
This is a very formal piece which would accommodate both a good size fresh or silk flower arrangement. There is no glass insert; a glass vase could be inserted if desired.
There is a place on the center of the handle for a monogram but it has not been monogrammed. There is a little spot in the finish on that area. Also, a small repair has been made to one side of the handle which is quite inconspicuous.
Bottom is marked Pairpoint with the P in diamond trade mark and E.P.N.S. 01560 15 1/2 Wm Mounts.
A very impressive Pairpoint Silverplate basket.

A wonderful antique bronze ashtray which we believe to be from the Emerson Hotel, Mt. Tremper in the pristine and picturesque Hudson Valley in New York.
This bronze ashtray has an ornate Rococo style border / edge and a match holder in the center. The match holder has a knight's helmet with a shield flanked by lions on both sides with an angel or cherub at the top.
This is a very solid and heavy ashtray weighing just over 2 pounds. Measures approximately 6" diameter and 5" tall. It has fabulous age patina and is fresh from a New York estate.
This hotel was named for Ralph Waldo Emerson who in 1836 wrote "Nature", an essay inspired by the serene beauty of this area. The publication of "Nature" prompted the American Conservation Movement, which led to establishing the 600 square-mile Catskill Forest Preserve which now surrounds the Emerson Resort and Spa.
