A rare and exceptional art glass paperweight made by Kosta Boda, Sweden that comes in its original box, with label and paper. This paperweight was designed and signed by Kosta Boda artist Bertil Vallien who is by far the most internationally celebrated glass artist and designer in Sweden. He has received numerous awards and his work is well represented in leading museums throughout the world.
This striking clear oblong paperweight has a round black shape in the center with an orange and white design.
Measures approximately 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" and is just under 1 5/8" tall. The top has what looks like a very faint and inconspicuous scuff mark perhaps from movement in its box. It has the original Atelje label and the bottom is signed Kosta Boda B Vallien Atelje 792.

A rare and exceptional art glass vase made by Kosta Boda, Sweden. This vase was designed and signed by Klas-Goran Tinback estimated to be from 1976 - 1981 while he was design artist at Kosta Boda.
Vase has black glass on the inside with a white circle and crystal clear glass on the outside with 3 white lines going from the top edge to the bottom.
Measures 5 5/8" tall and is heavy for its size weighing about 2 pounds 4.5 ounces. It has the original label Handmade Kosta Crystal Collection Full Lead Crystal. The bottom is signed Kosta 48253 Tinback.
A fabulous example of Tinback's work and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
