Japanese Porcelain BANKO vases, Handbuilt facing pair, decorated one side with a tree and maple leaves, the other side a modeled tree trunk with sprigged-on flowering branches. Impressed BANKO mark under the glazed foot. Condition, one vase has fracture, body crack across foot. The other has loss to flower. 9"H. Vases very rare. Late 19th. C. Ca. 1880-1897.
Japanese HIRADO censer, globular, blue and white, domed cover with three openings and a fu dog finial, overall decorated in scenic Chinese style with fisherman, mountains, clouds, trees, and cliffs, above the sea. Kiln adhesion on one foot. Signed on bottom. Meas. 8 1/2" x 7 1/2". Unglazed area inside neck that meets glaze fires reddish orange. This piece is thickly potted and heavy.

Japanese Kenzan Style Vase, decorated with stylized flowers on a crackle ground, in colors of brown, yellow, orange, green, and pink, with a geometric pattern at lower portion of vase. Vase is very bulbous at top and Measures 8" at its widest point, narrowing at bottom to 4"at base, x 10 1/4 H. The vase is very art deco in coloration and feeling.
