This incense case has carved and lacquered designs, bat motif on the cover and Reishi or Ganogerma Lucidum motif on the bottom. There is an artist mark "Zokoku" with lacquer on the bottom. Tamakaji Zokoku (1806-1869) is known as father of Sanuki (Kagawa) lacquer art. It is in good condition with bald lacquer of design on the bottom. Measurements about : 1 1/8" (3cm) tall and 3" (7.5cm) in diameter. Comes with original wooden box.

This mordern round flower vase with mesh design by Minoru Nishikawa (1929-), in Kyoto. He has be accepted the Japan Fine Arts Exhibition (Nitten) many times and received a number of awards. Artist sign "Minoru" on the bottom. Measurements: 7 1/2" (19 cm) tall and 8 7/8" (22.5 cm) in diameter. It is in perfect condition and comes with original signed and stamped wooden box.

This fine painting depicts sunset over the bamboo thicket with very good brush strokes by Kano Naonobu (1607-1650). Painted with ink(sumi) and color on silk. The painting has been extensively and expertly repaired, and is mounted as scroll with high quality fabrics. It has the signature and red seal of the artist. Measurements of Scroll : 10 1/8" x 47 3/4" (25.5cm x 121cm), Picture area : 8 7/8" x 17 3/4" (22.5cm x 45cm).

This box is woven with very fine peeled bamboo or vines. The cock and hen design are made with silver and red Takamakie technique directly on the basket base. Its interior of the covr and bottom are decorated with autumn flowers with gold Hiramakie technique on the black lacquer ground. Measurements: 9 1/8" (23cm) by 10" (25.3cm) and 2 3/4" (7cm) height.
