Pair of Georgian cut steel and horn hair combs, one fashioned as a crescent, one as a crescent and star. Beautiful original condition; one rivet on swivel of crescent and start has broken loose. Measure 2 Ύ tall.
An unusual wooden penwork floral picture, circa the late 18th or early 19th century. Women often made penwork boxes or pictures at home, using stylized floral motifs deriving from the Chinese. A piece of wood was varnished and then decorated with pen, then varnished again. This picture is lovely and rich in color and style. A wonderful and rare 19th century English steel chatelaine with five chains, including a cut steel studded mesh purse and steel button hook. Chatelaine hook measures 2 Ύ; chains are 7. The purse measures 5 by 3 it has great pointed drops on the fringe! Very good condition; some wear commensurate with age; could use a good clean.

A charming French cut steel beaded purse with a multi-tone rug design in shades of gold, silver and bronze, circa 1900. The purse features an intertwining fringe, a double chain handle, a patterned goldtone frame and a white satin lining. The frame is marked "Made in France". Condition is very good: the beads are all present and tight to the frame. The fringe is missing one string, and there may be some dirt or discoloration on some of the other strings.
