Extremely rare antique German silver mesh purse, with a clock inset in the frame. The exact purse can be seen in Richard Holiner’s 1996 guide, Antique Purses, on page 107. Beautiful embossed frame; interesting link chain. Very good condition; crack to glass of timepiece, a few dropped links under one shoulder. I have not tested the clock. Measures 6” from clasp to bottom; 7 1/4” wide.
