Very pretty antique Chinese silk kidney shaped pouch or purse. Double sided: blue silk ground on one side, cream on the other, both with couched multi-colored metallic thread embroidery. Pleated opening. Woven silk drawstring, set with a glass bead on one side. Silk is dirty overall; blue silk ground is shredding at pleats and at opening; some loose threads. Measures 5 1/4” by 4”.

Antique Chinese silk archer’s ring holder or purse. Archer’s rings were originally worn on the thumb to protect the archer’s thumb as it pulled the bow string. They evolved into a symbol of high socially rank. This cylindrical blue silk ring holder is decorated with couched gold metallic thread depicting flowers and fruits. Antique Chinese iron flint fire striker, set in a leather pouch, decorated with brass. Probably worn on a man’s belt. Unreadable marks on flint. Flint is separating from pouch; one brass corner and three studs missing. Measures 2 1/2” by 1 5/8”.
An intriguing 18th century silver pendant talisman, mounted with a fragment of bone. Silver mount features a floral motif. Good condition; wear to mount commensurate with age. Measures 1 7/8” tall.
Wonderful 19th century Chinese cloisonné enamel box. Every side is decorated in high relief with precious objects and flowers. Interior is enameled in deep blue. Condition is very good; some pitting (possibly from the process) and dirt to enamel. Measures 2 1/8” long by 1 5/8” wide by 1 1/8” tall.
