An exceptional large Whiting and Davis fine dresden mesh purse, in mint condition, circa the 1920’s. The purse features a pastoral landscape with a church and trees. The coloration is a radiant spectrum of greens, yellows, oranges and black! From the variegated pointed fringe to the goldtone frame this purse is perfect, beautiful and rare! Snake chain; Whiting and Davis stamp on frame. Measures 6” by 5”. Fringe adds another 2 ¼”.

Unusual Victorian agate signet ring, inscribed “T.O.T.E”, (or “Time is Of The Essence”). A thin layer of onyx appears to have been laid over a piece of white agate, and then carved through. 10K rose gold shank. Very good condition, so wear (small pits, scratches) to gold shank. Size 9.

The 11 garnets and 10 pearls are set into a white enameled background highlighted with a red and black frond pattern. Ornate pierced reverse.
