A truly rare late 18th century silkwork and hair embroidered picture of figures wandering around a ruined archway. The lighter tones are hair, the darker are silk! It is mounted in a glazed rectangular period gilt frame. Measures 4 3/3" by 6 3/4". Very good condition; minor staining; some chipping to frame.
