Wonderful 19th century Chinese silk purse formed in the shape of a shield, embroidered with Shou symbols (for long life) in silk and gold metal threads. Very good condition. Measures 5 ½ by 6.
Wonderful retablo ex voto on tin featuring a woman possibly a nun -- praying to a picture of a saint. The retablo appears to be unfinished: there is the usual place at the bottom for text, but it is blank. A lovely, simple piece of folk art. Good condition, though theres lots of scratching. Measures 6 7/8 by 4 7/8.
