Beautiful Victorian aesthetic brooch with a flora and fauna motif, circa 1890. Features a butterfly and three leaves applied in gold. Brooch elements are engraved and have beaded borders. Good condition; a little wear to the gold. Reverse displays English hallmarks for Birmingham, date letter not visible, makers mark is S. Bros. Measures 2”.
