Great 19th century silver and malachite pendant, probably Austro-Hungarian. The large central malachite stone is surrounded by a fanciful figural setting, including a pagoda, dragons and winged female figureheads. A roaring lions head is suspended below; there is a scroll bail on top. Very good condition. Measures 2 3/4 by 1 1/8.

19th century silver penannular brooch set with a large baroque pearl. This form of jewel dated from the Roman period in Ireland and Scotland. It refers to a brooch in the form of a partially closed ring to which a long pin is attached by its head, an easy fastening for loosely woven cloth. Circle measure 1 3/4; 2 3/8 with pin.
