Gorgeous deco Whiting and Davis mesh purse, featuring double walled round armor mesh. The purse features a double layer of metallic silver mesh, with a floral pattern in blue, orange and yellow. Great enamel fringe, also in orange and blue. Mesh is in very good condition; a few dropped links at the frame terminals; only two fleabites to enamel panels on frame, but silver metal is worn, Twist chain handle. Measures 6 3/4 from clasp to bottom.

I love finding enamel mesh purses in patterns Ive never seen before! This diminutive Whiting and Davis purse, circa the 1920s, features an art nouveau inspired design of a deep blue bow swag, outlined in black and dotted with salmon pink flowers. Lovely floral pierced metal frame. Theres some wear to the enamel, especially on the fringe; dirt to the frame; and some dropped links under the frame. Measures 5 1/2.
