Exceptional Georgian sepia on ivory pendant, commemorating true love. A bird holds two hearts pierced with an arrow in its beak. Below the hearts are the initials “EB”, and below them a banner with the text “One Mind.” Navette shaped setting features beautiful bright work. Very good condition; artwork is excellent; there’s a small chip to the glass at 1 o’clock; the bail has been reinforced on the reverse. Measures 1 1/4” by 11/16”.

A superb Georgian sentimental painted miniature and paste brooch-pendant set in 9k rose gold, circa 1780, featuring two lambs lying together beneath a tree. The miniature is painted in watercolor and chopped hair on ivory, and is surrounded by a dazzling black-dot paste border. Rare Georgian portrait miniature of a young girl, painted on fabric, stitched with hair, and set into a lovely gold brooch frame bordered by delicate seed pearls. The girl is beautifully painted on some sort of silk or cotton weave. There aren’t enough adjectives to describe these unusual and beautiful earrings! Gold, gilt, enamel and pearl figural earrings, circa 1830, possibly Portuguese. Circular tops feature a gold floral figure laid on brilliant red enamel surrounded by pearls; the tear-shaped pendant drops feature a dog in gold on blue and red enamel, surrounded by wired pearls and topped with twisted gold wirework.
