| Wonderful antique trinket box with hand painted miniature portrait on the lid. Box is made of wood, painted white, and decorated with metals straps and buckles. The lovely gilt-surround portrait depicts a boy playing a guitar in a landscape. Colors are bright and fresh; a small patch of paint is missing from the bottom of his tunic. Push clasp works well. Box is lined with red paper and is in very good condition: some dirt and wear overall, but a great look! The portrait is in excellent condition. Measures 8 ¾” by 3” by 2 ¼.” | |||||||||
