| Lovely tent stitched picture, worked in colored wools, circa 1720. It depicts the Judgment of Paris; the goddesses and Paris are arranged in a wooded landscape, with Juno’s peacock (and a dog!) in the foreground. Measures 20” by 15 ¾”; set in a wooden frame but not glazed. Condition is good; colors are lively; several areas of decent repair, mostly in the corners. | ||||||||
