| Super antique beaded purse, featuring a basket of fruit and flowers on one side, and a floral wreath on the other, circa 1830. The basket is beaded in yellow and gold; grapes and apples and other fruit spill out of it! Blue cotton lining; the header has gone and the blue silk ribbon drawstring is shattered. There are several holes and repairs, the largest about 5/8, and it is lacking a fringe. But its an unusual, lovely piece of early beadwork! Measures 6 ½ by 6. | ||||||||
