| English School portrait miniature in watercolor on ivory of a gentleman, circa 1760. He wears a bright blue coat over a blue waistcoat and white shirt, his powdered hair en queue. Set in turned wood frame. The likeness is nicely done; face is slightly bluish; coat has been repainted; minor crack to frame. Loose paper reverse. Measures 2” by 1 5/8”; sight size is 1 3/8” by 1 1/8”. | |||||
