| Late 19th century Continental School portrait miniature in watercolor on ivory of a young girl picking cherries. She wears a white dress and blue apron, from which the cherries spill. She's even slung then over her ears like earrings! Set into an engraved gilt metal mount, which would probably have been set into a frame or box. Good condition: there’s a little light mold and a few tiny spots of dirt. Measures 3’ by 2”; sight size is 1 1/2” by 1”. | ||||||
