| Georgian portrait miniature in watercolor on ivory of a gentleman in military dress, identified as Lord Dundonald circa 1789. The gent wears a blue military jacket with gold epaulettes and buttons, and a white waistcoat and jabot. Set in a lacquered wood frame with a gilt metal mount. Good condition; one tiny nick to the background at one cheek; frame a bit bowed, the cornucopia and ring loose (with adjacent crack); some where to mount. Sight size 2 1/4” by 1 3/4”. | |||||||
