| Wonderful Victorian gold Etruscan style set, featuring a brooch and earrings. Victorians had a mania for things Italian, and were keenly interested in the discovery of ancient jewels in Tuscany which incorporated applied beadwork and twisted wirework. The Victorians used those motifs in the jewelry of the second half on the 19th century. This elegant set is formed in that style. Very good condition. The brooch measures 2 5/16; the earrings are 1 1/4” from the top of the wire. | |||||||
