Rare, very beautiful, LARGE Loetz Cameo Base, thick, solid Purple glass ACID-ETCHED, PLATINUM-FINISHED Floral Decor brightly iridescent. AGE: Art Deco (Around 1920's or earlier).
SIZE: 7 1/3" by about 5" by 2 1/3".
CONDITION: Excellent, No Damages or Repairs.
This is a consignment piece, the owner says this is by PHOENIX (I myself do not specialize in this kind of glass). In any event, it's purely Deco in shape, it's blue enamel-washed and fired. All edges are hand-polished, also the inside. Nice solid weight. Beautiful and collectible piece, presumably a jewelry box.
