This antique milleflori or millefiore paperweight was hand-crafted in the fanciful shape of a grandfather or tall-case clock, It measures measures 7 1/2" high, 2" wide and 1 1/4" deep. It stands on applied, gilded feet. When held to the light, there is some translucence. It is in excellent condition, and my guess is that it is late Nineteenth Century Italian.
