$1400.00 the dozen

Here is a custom-made Tiffany & Co. sterling silver wine coaster measuring 4 3/4" across and 1 1/4" high. It has a mahogany base, and the sterling silver frame encloses six dies used for stationery on the yacht Viking (at least that is my theory). It dates from the era of John C Moore II, and is in excellent condition with only the slightest bend on the edge.

$595.00 set of six

Measuring 3 7/8" long these silver gilt demitasse spoons, recently acquired from descendants of royalty in a Washington, D.C. estate, appear to have been inspired by the designs of the British silversmith George Adams, who made these ornate grape motif designs so popular in the early Nineteenth Century. Since these have no hallmarks of any kind, I ...click for details
