Each in a mahogany, gilt-edged frame measuring 6 1/4" x 6 1/4", are two carefully carved, tiny (approx. 2") ivory carvings beautifully mounted on black (felt, I think). The first is a hunter stalking his prey, while the second is a man on a burro, reminiscent of Sancho Panza. Each frame is backed with red paper and a hook for hanging. Likely English, c. 1900. Excellent condition all around.
