$695.00

Manufactured in France, c. 1920-1930, this green patina wrought iron candelabra measure 15” high by 13 ½” wide. There is a central, applied gilt quatrefoil decoration, and five dangling glass prisms on each candelabrum. They are unwired, and I am selling the pair as-found, shabby-chic but charming. Good but used condition, France. c. 1930

$1250.00

In brilliant blue, orange, yellow green and yellow, this faience elephant was made in France expressly for Tiffany and Company, I am guessing ca. 1970. It measures 16 1/2" in length, 9 1/2" in height, and 5" deep. It is in excellent condition, and can accommodate a floral arrangement in the square opening on the "howdah" on top. It is in excellent condition.

$850.00

This shagreen gaming caddy, or chip holder, holds about 130 mother of pearl gaming chips (perhaps a few are missing), and stands, to the tip of the handle, 3" high. It is 7 1/2" across and 5" wide. The condition, with the exception of some wear to the underside, is excellent. All the fad in the Art Deco era, this piece is a rare find, indeed.

This stunning piece of hand-potted, and glazed signed Americana, is a lively interpretation of none other than the classic Uncle Sam. The glazes which are themselves spirited colors and applications lend a sophisticated finess to this handsome piece. Made of a yellow-terra cotta clay, the color of the biscuit bleeds through the glaze in a few spots. The face is serious and striking. The hat is over-brimmed with stars. The markings on the bottom state "Designed by D. Clemini potted by DeBerg ...click for details

$1000.00

With the flamboyant color we have come to expect from the Longwy factory, this limited edition charger glows. The mark indicates that it is #26 of 75 designed by the artist R. Rizzi, c.1950, and decorated by hand by (J.M.)J. Masson. My guess is that it is c. 1950. It is in excellent condition, and was recently acquired from a Washington, DC estate. It is 37 cm, 16" in diameter.

$975.00

Standing 10 1/2" high, this male and female in deep aqua crackle glaze, are handsome Italian pottery chinoiserie figures made for the design import house of WONY in New York City. Although the base is marked "SB 55 WONY ITALY", similar figures were made by the potter Ugo Zaccagni, and Fantoni. As a bonus, each figure bears its original WoNY sticker. The chinese-like figures were all the rage in the 1950's and this was one of the favorite colors, along with Chinese red, chartre ...click for details

In a frame measuring 21 3/4" x 17 1/2", this plaque depicting a stylized Mount Fujiyama, appears to be made of a wireless cloisonne, or perhaps just a seamless enamel, with a gilt flat enamel sky. The frame has fabric liner. The actual method of manufacture of this item is rather a mystery to me. Within the frame, the actual enamel piece measures 14" x 9". The enamel is flawless, while the gilt sky has a few rubbed marks on it. There is a signature/caption piece affixed to ...click for details
