This Italian soft paste, blue-transfer plate, measures 8 1/2" in diameter. The description of the battle scene reads (and a few of the words are blurred) "Amadeo Settimo Uccide di propria mano a colpi d'Accetta Alain, ed Enrico Langlier, e feriscoe Trevet gentiluomo Inglese". The maker name, which is only partially visibly impressed on the reverse, seems to be DORTU & C.
