This delightful faience or majolica vase is of European origin, but I am not familiar with the mark, which says "Ceramique de ???". I am guessing that it is Belgian or French. It has a cicada perched on one side. and is decorated with a pine cone, and branch. There is a signature which appears to be L. Berty, or Beaty. It measures 6" high and 4 1/2" wide. It is in excellent condtion, with no chips. cracks or repairs.
