These two brilliantly colored pieces of glass fruit are unmarked, but attributed to Fratelli Toso, measure 4 1/4" high (pear), and 2 1/2" high (apple). There is a tiny bit of roughness on the stems, but likely where they were blown and cut off at time of manufacture.

This magnificent Russian lacquer box, is an oblong, lozenge shape with a lacquered foil butterfly perched on its lid. It measures 3 1/4 " long, while the butterfly itself has a 2 1/4" wingspan. The red pamphlet which accompanies it states that it is a product of the Fedoskino School, and was executed by the artists Kykuishkina, and is hand made of papier-mache. The box is in mint condition.
