| Here is a marvelous example of aesthetic movement/orientalism design in the form of a highly-decorated French faience vase. The front depicts a French woman in Renaissance dress, while the reverse is a floral motif with a gold background. There is an all-over background design of Moorish arabesque decoration. The piece is incised "St Denis" on the bottom. It measures 10 7/8" high, and 6 3.4" wide approx. 28cm x 15cm. It is in excellent condition. | |||||||
