| Having carved half-sails, and sailing on a foamy sea, is this diorama-like replica of the sailing ship "Marion Sprague". Written in pencil on the reverse is the inscription, "Marion W. Sprague built in Boston 1889, 748 ton" and then signed, "George A. Alden, 1941". The piece measures 12 1/2" long, 9" high, and 3 1/2" deep. In good, as found condition with a fine folk art, home-made flavor. | ||||||
