| I am pleased to offer this pair of Meissen master salts, a lady and gentlemen in Eighteenth Century garb with the traditional highly decorated costumes recumbunt on a decorated base. The measurements are: 6 1/2" long, 5" deep, and 5" high. There is a restoration beautifully done on one of the man's hands, and some mismatched retouching of gold on the rim of the bowl. The woman seems to be without blemish. Both have a crossed swords mark, and I estimate the pair to be c. 1900. | ||||||||||
