Wedgwood Majolica Clock, c. 1875
There seems to be a wide, and always surprising variety of item manufactured in a majolica glaze by the Wedgwood factory in the Nineteenth Century. This is certainly one of those. 14 1/2" tall x 8 1/2" wide. The rectangular base measures 4" x 5". The photos speak for themselves as far as design and color are concerned. There is a clock complete with a key which appears to be overwound. I am selling the clock works "as is" and make no claims as to difficulty/ease in making the clock functional. Overall condition of the pottery is superb, with only a small, quite well done repair on the crowning bird finial (see photo detail). England, last quarter of the Nineteenth Century, and marked with Wedgwood mark and three letter (or two letters and a number) mark.
