| In a frame measuring 21 3/4" x 17 1/2", this plaque depicting a stylized Mount Fujiyama, appears to be made of a wireless cloisonne, or perhaps just a seamless enamel, with a gilt flat enamel sky. The frame has fabric liner. The actual method of manufacture of this item is rather a mystery to me. Within the frame, the actual enamel piece measures 14" x 9". The enamel is flawless, while the gilt sky has a few rubbed marks on it. There is a signature/caption piece affixed to the back which is pictured here. | |||||||
