| Porcelain napkin rings, so much more fragile than metal ones, are rather scarce items. Here is an example that I have not seen before: a jasper-like napkin ring decorated in grape leaves. It measures 2" at its widest diameter (the piece is a bit flared at one end, making the insertion of a napkin easier). It dates from c. 1880 and is most likely of British manufacture. | |||||
