| This nude by Wallace Bassford (1900 - ?), measures 12" x 9" in a frame measuring 16 1/4" x 13 1/2" (cm 31 x 23, 42 x 35), and is signed with a scrafitto/pencil signature in the lower right. It is done in the wistful, impressionistic pastels one expects from this artist. With the painting are two exhibition brochures from Palm Beach Galleries from whom it was purchased in 1966. It is displayed in a walnut frame with a linen mat and bronze bass or bronze liner. In excellent condition. Wallace Bassford has been a painter, a designer,a teacher, and a writer, and has exhibited in at least a dozen cities. | |||||||
