| Measuring 9 1/4" in diameter this marked "Masons Patent Ironstone China" plate (see reverse photo) is in a very rare bird pattern, with a brightly painted jay of some real or fantasy variety in the center. The surrounding rim is a light aqua. The condition is excellent with only some rubbing to the high ridges, and only the evidence of some gilt on the rim. Manufactured in Great Britain, c. 1840. | ||||||
