Vinatge 8" x 10" toned gelatin silver print black and white photograph of famed New Orleans restaurant Galatoires. Blind stamped Linnenkohl Photograph in lower right margin. Scene depicts Maj.H. D. Gilles of Sidcup, England entertained at dinner by Dr. Thomas M. Terry, October 21, 1919. Overall good condition but with small corner missing lower left, visible in picture.

Shot with an 8x10 view camera at a minute to two minute exposures shooting from the Times Square island down the whole block with one horizontal. The final archival print is the result of digitally splicing together the 22 vertical 8x10 negatives.
