| "Town Square" circa 1920, oil on canvas, 19" x 23", nice craved frame 27" x 31", signed, very good condition. This is a wonderful composition and great use of color. About the artist: Milo O’Leary , born in Detroit, Michigan, studied art in France just after WWI and then returned to Michigan. He was a member, and Secretary, of the Scarab Club, still the Art Club of Detroit, Michigan. He exhibited in the Michigan area and continued to paint throughout his life. O’Leary was very active in Detroit, exhibiting at The Detroit Institute of Arts in 1929,1932,1933,1934 and 1936. | |
