Very large Han dynasty Cold Painted Pottery Cocoon Jar, China (206 BCE - 220 CE) Full ovid body raised on a ridged spreading pedestal foot. Deeply incised bands with geometric patterns and pigments of red, green, cream and brown. Short neck encircled by string bands before flaring toward everted rim.
