| Shipibo Pottery Figural Vessels of a Man and a Woman, ca. 1950 CE. Sold as a pair. Wonderful Shipibo couple. Original Amazonian art. Hand painted, each piece has a unique design that is passed down from one generation of women to the next. The art form is not very well understood by the outside world. The artists themselves believe they are inspired to create each distinctive pattern. This is a 2nd generation pair, unusual for the amount of time it has been preserved.
