| Red-Figured Bell Krater from 330-310 B.C. Most likely by the Malibu Painter. Belonging to the Chevron Group. On obverse a draped female, her knee bent looking back toward a mirror in her right hand, in her left hand holding a decorated box. On the reverse a profile head of a Lady of Fashion, with saccos and stephani, down turned lip and straight nose, wearing a necklace and earrings her hair adorned by a headdress. Split palmettes on each side with a meander pattern around the base line of each illustration. Piece is in tact. 9 1/2 inches tall. | |||||
