| Pair of unusually large early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)green and yellow glazed roof tiles in the shape of buddhistic lions. Mouths agape with finely fashioned teeth and tongue. Large eyes, intricately carved mane and tale. Wood stands included. Measure 19 1/2 inches high, 23 inches from nose to tail. Stands measure 6 inches high, 25 1/2 long, 12 1/2 wide.
