This wonderful Machine Age tubular steel umbrella stand, with its streamlined design, is reminiscent of the pieces
by Marcel Breuer. The stand has been replated in Nickel, with the copper tray being repainted its original black color. European made, this piece was most likely produced
in Germany or France. Although the maker is unknown, it's reminiscent to pieces made by Thonet, the French maker of
Bentwood furniture and well known maker of tube steel

Elegant French Art Nouveau Lamp, circa 1900. Signed Julien Causse, this artist signed sculpture depicts a lovely female wearing a diaphanous gown and standing on a rocky base. The Lily form art glass shade is pink with Opalescent tips. Although the patinated finish has long been worn off, this piece has its own natural patina which is quite attractive. The casting is marked France. and is mounted on a wood base which has a painted tortoise shell finish. Height 16 3/4"

This is a marvelous pair of European 17th or 18th Century embroidered Coats of Arms on their original burgundy velvet remnants. The Royal looking panels appear to be either French or Spanish and most likely came from chair backs or possibly draperies. Both textile pieces are framed like a fine work of art and would look wonderful in a library or a formal dining room.
