This very large Sawfish snout called a Rostrum, makes a striking and unique decorative accessory. Typically these are found in the 20"-30" range, but this one measures a full 41.25" in length. This fine specimen makes for quite a trophy and is mounted upright on its own custom made steel stand. It's in excellent condition and has only one missing tooth, which is unusual considering what it is and how its used.

This another fine example of the splendid and petit vintage furniture from the Brittany region of France. Wonderfully carved in every detail, this miniature piece is of a Brittany Closed Bed also used as cupboard or for storage. The four front panels have the wagon wheel design with two being sliding doors. Both sides are also carved, just like the full size antique versions from the 18th Century. Splendid hand-carved and gilt wood sunburst framed mirror in excellent condition. The gold leaf finish appears original and has a nice warm patina. Great size, overall diameter 26" with 6" dia. mirror.

Beautiful French Mirror with large Acanthus Leaf detail, circa 1940. Nicely carved wood and gesso frame with gold finish. There are some losses to the gesso that have been painted over. Please look over the photos carefully.
