Fabulous set of four Louis XV style mahogany and cane dining room chairs. Each chair is hand made in Paris, France by AGR. AGR specializes in handcrafted French reproductions they call reeditions. The chairs have a high back with elaborate carved toprail. The seats are wide and have superbly carved aprons and cabriolet legs. The caning is in perfect condition. Lovely pair of wonderful French Louis XV style Fauteuils. Exquisitely carved Beechwood frames show the quality and attention to detail given to make these 19th century side chairs. Notice the elegant look and sinuous shape of the carved arms as they flow down to the cabriolet legs. The finish appears to be original and has a rich almost deep honey color.
