| Gypsy Camp - Siloam Springs, Arkansas by TEXAS Artist E. M. (Emma) Dillard (1879-1968) This lovely oil painting on board, depicts two people on a boat on the Illinois River. It's signed Em Dillard (LR) and titled Gipsy Camp, Siloam Springs AR on the reverse and dated August 1951. Her work is a soft impressionist style up close, but at a distance the image becomes more sharp and defined. She's a listed artist well known for her landscape paintings and floral still life's. She studied with Frank Klepper, Frank Reaugh and Vivian Aunspaugh. The surface and colors are in excellent condition, as is the wheat colored wood frame.
