Titled "Maisons-Laffitte" this wonderful gouache painting depicts the final minutes of a horse race at the Maisons-Laffitte Racecourse in Paris. This exciting horse racing scene was painted by the French artist Eugene Pechaubes (1890-1967). Born in Paris France, Eug Pechaubes was well known for his paintings of Horse Races and other Equestrian scenes including Polo.
