This is a marvelous set of antique Oryx Horns, dated 1894. This 19th century German taxidermy mount has two plates, one on each side that read as follows: Plaque 1 "Len Antilope, Deutsch = Oafr" Plaque 2 "Taurotragus Oryx, Livingstoni 1894" The shaped wood plaque is branded on the reverse with St.Ue. This trophy mount would look great in a study or library setting. The horns are 25.25" long and the overall size is 33.5"H x 14"W x 15"D.
