This standing figure is a Costa Rican Pre Columbian terra cotta hallow redware whistle. Very interesting. Circa 100 – 500 AD Both legs were broken and repaired.

This Pre-Columbian Nayarit (West Mexico, Central America) figure is made from terracotta clay. He has a bull ring through his nose and is holding a bowl. The inside is hollow and features a hole at the top and bottom of the figure. The earthenware is painted. Circa 100 BC – 250 AD.
Condition consistent with age. Please review pictures and/or ask questions, if necessary.
